We’ve worked with Omega Oil and Gas across its exploration program in Queensland’s Taroom Trough, producing video and photography for investor communications, project updates and the company’s broader corporate story. What began with an on-site exploration shoot has developed into an ongoing production relationship across regional Queensland and Brisbane.

Capturing a major moment in the field
Our first major Omega production in 2025 centred on a fracture stimulation test at their Canyon-1H exploration well, timed alongside an investor site tour.
The work was happening live and many moments could only be captured once, so we travelled with a four-person crew covering video, still photography and drone footage at the same time. That gave Omega a broad visual record of the testing program, the site and the people involved without slowing down the operation.
Making technical work easier to understand
Good footage was only part of the job. We needed to understand what Omega was doing, why it mattered and what investors and stakeholders needed to take from it.
We interviewed members of the leadership and technical team and developed questions that allowed them to explain the work in their own words. The aim was to ask the right questions, find the strongest answers and shape them into a clear narrative in the edit.
The shoot also created a library of photography and video that Omega could reuse across presentations, ASX announcements, corporate communications and later projects.
Building the broader corporate story
We later filmed Omega’s CEO and team in its Brisbane office for a corporate overview video, combining new interviews and office footage with material we’d already captured in the Taroom Trough.
That continuity is one of the advantages of an ongoing production relationship. Rather than starting from zero each time, we can build on what we already know about the business and the content we’ve captured, helping Omega connect the field activity, the people behind it and the wider company story.
